(1997, Flipside)

Years before they became the art-rock behemoths and destroyers of tv studios heralded by the impossibly good Relationship of Command, AtD-I were a noisy as fuck little speedball of emo-punk and angular noise, a kind of ADHD Fugazi. ⠀
This, their first album, may sound like it was recorded in a bathtub from a different room, but it still contains everything that would go on to make them the coolest band on the planet, even if it was only heard by about seventeen people.⠀
