(1990, Epitaph)

There aren’t many albums you can call perfect, especially not within the constraints of a genre as restrictive as punk. What Bad Religion achieved on this, their fifth album and first of the decade is exactly that.

With lyrics that presage *flails wildly* all this by thirty years, and which are as likely to get a punk reaching for an encyclopedia as for a circle pit, there is no fat on this album, no wasted riff, no moment’s let up. It’s a monster album. Absolutely brilliant.
