Taking in everything from Beck and Soundgarden to Hank Williams, and backed by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, this is Cash continuing to put pay to the lie that getting old has to mean you can only do things to harm your legacy.

I particularly love his takes on Beck’s Rowboat and Soundgarden’s Rusty Cage, they were my route into an appreciation for the man I’d only heard my Dad rave about, but his stripped-back versions show just how magnificent those songs are.
