(1992, Slash/Reprise)

I have a feeling this won’t be the last time I type this but we’re only 53 albums into the thousand and we may have already found the best album of the whole damn decade.

Imperious, flawless, Faith No More’s 1992 classic is peerless, which is why so many of the bands who so desperately tried to follow in their footsteps got so lost.

LISTEN: If you’re unfamiliar with it, check out the Pcl Podcast episode on this album, and revel in how much two grown men get excited about an album over a quarter of a century after it came out. Then if you really want a treat, pour yourself a nice hot bath and put the album on.

WATCH: Once you’ve done that, check out this amazing live performance of Caffeine, which is a video I still check out at least once a month on Youtube, only because I wore out the VHS copy.
