(1993, CherryDisc/Giant)

A band I remember discovering through an episode of Daria, back in the day when most of the new music I heard was from episodes of either that or Beavis and Butthead. Like a less spiky, even more summery Veruca Salt, Aurora may have been polished to a fine sheen, it’s a great pop-rock album, and couldn’t sound any more nineties if it tried.

READ: A nice review of the album at a website called Drunken Werewolf, which is not where you’d expect to find a Letters To Cleo review, but hey.

WATCH: Not much decent live stuff on youtube, so here’s the video for the excellent Here and Now.
