While Converge, Botch, Cave In, and Dillinger Escape Plan were brewing up a new sonic hardcore stew stateside, somewhere in Switzerland Knut were doing much the same, to such success than when they toured with Converge and Botch the following year, Hydrahead instantly snapped the band up, and would carry on releasing their insanely technical sludgy mathcore until they sadly split. This album is an absolute jackhammer to the skull, and while they would go on turning the notch on their excellence with every subsequent release, this is a notable start.
