It was inevitable that the murky triphop sound emerging from Bristol would weld itself to a poppier sensibility, so it was a good job that the responsibility for that fell to Sneaker Pimps, who kept more than enough dirt under their fingernails whilst still creating some of the catchiest earworms of the 90s.
